Session Proposals

About the Conference

Proposal Process

The League accepts proposals for educational sessions from its municipal members to help prepare Conference sessions each year.

The primary goal of all sessions is to educate municipal leaders and professionals on innovative solutions to emerging issues in local government.

Proposed speakers should be affiliated with municipal, county, and state government, or a nonprofit organization.

We also offer a limited number of Exhibitor Learning Sessions for private sector companies that are exhibiting at the Conference and wish to share their expertise. 2026 sessions are sold out. 2027 reservations will open next spring.

Submission Guidelines

  • We accept proposals from our municipal members exclusively.
  • The proposal must include the primary point of contact. This contact information is how we will communicate with you regarding the status of your proposal.
  • Avoid all commercial bias.
  • The topic of sessions should be geared towards local government.

Submission Window

Submissions are accepted March 1 – May 31.
