Registration Types Explained
Government/Nonprofit
Employees or elected officials of municipal, state, county, municipal utilities/authorities and non-profit organizations.
Non-Government
For profit organizations/non-exhibiting companies.
Spouse/Partner
A spouse/partner cannot be an employee of the municipality, and this badge is not eligible to earn CEU credits.
Student Rate
Available to students with a student ID onsite only.

Frequently Asked Questions
What payment methods do you accept?
- Online: Credit card (all attendees) or purchase order (government attendees). If paying by purchase order, have it ready to upload during registration.
- Onsite: Credit card, check, or money order.
How do I register with a purchase order?
Online registration by purchase order is available throughout the Conference.
Upon registration completion, an email is sent with the claimant’s certification signature, eliminating the need to send purchase orders to the League office for signature.
To expedite the registration process, we encourage the electronic submission of purchase orders in advance. If you have additional questions, Email Marie Kizer, or call 609-695-3481, extension 113.
Can I cancel/receive a refund for my registration?
There are no guaranteed refunds or cancellations after an online registration is submitted for processing. However, registrants may transfer their badge to another individual.
How do I transfer my badge to another individual?
If a registrant is unable to attend, their registration may be transferred to another individual, as long as that individual is not currently registered. An attendee cannot transfer a spouse/partner badge.
After November 6, corrections can be made onsite by visiting the staffed registration counters on the 2nd level of the AC Convention Center.
What if the Conference or a League Event is cancelled?
If NJLM cancels the Conference or an NJLM ticketed event, registration fees and/or applicable ticketed event fees will be refunded in full.
Modification of events will not be cause for refunds.
Can I register my spouse/partner?
Yes! Please note that a spouse/partner cannot be a municipal employee, and these badges are not valid for earning CEUs.
You can add a spouse/partner during your initial registration or add them later to a preexisting registration by logging into your registration account. Login details will be included in your registration confirmation email.
I have been invited to speak - do I need to register?
All confirmed speakers will be registered automatically for the Conference. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete. Please review this confirmation for additional details related to your speaker badge and earning CEUs. If you did not receive a confirmation email, contact the person organizing your session. If you are unsure who to contact, login to the Speaker Portal.
Will I receive a confirmation after registration?
Yes. Look for an email after registration has been completed. Emails will arrive from the address njleague@njlm.org.
Do I need to add my professional license numbers before attending the Conference?
No need! After the Conference has concluded, you will receive an email with instructions on how to login to the CEU Portal.
A link to the CEU Portal will also be accessible from the Conference website once available, typically one week after Conference week has concluded.
License numbers are collected after you login to submit your session attendance surveys.
How do I receive my badge?
All badges will be printed onsite upon arrival at the AC Convention Center. Kiosks are available in the atrium to easily print your badge and go!
Onsite Registration Hours
Onsite registration for attendees will begin on Tuesday morning.
- Tuesday, November 17: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 18: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, November 19: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Exhibitor staff registration is a separate process. Please visit your Exhibitor Portal for exhibitor staff registration hours.
Onsite Badge Printing Times
Monday – Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
I lost my badge. How do I get a badge reprint?
To increase our sustainability and decrease excess paper usage, you may only print your badge once using the self-service atrium kiosks. To print a replacement badge you must visit the Badge Reprint Station on the 2nd floor of the AC Convention Center, near Hall D, during onsite registration hours.

What is the Conference dress code?
We encourage all attendees to dress in comfortable, neat, and work-appropriate business casual attire – collared shirts, dress pants, dresses, skirts, sweaters, dressy boots, flats, or polished sneakers. You’ll be networking, walking the exhibit hall, and attending sessions, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes!
How can I purchase tickets to the League Networking Events?
During Registration
Tickets may be purchased during the initial registration process.
After Registration is Completed
Tickets can be purchased online July 1 – October 30 by adding tickets to an existing registration.
Onsite
Tickets may be purchase onsite by visiting the staffed General Registration counter on the 2nd floor of the AC Convention Center during onsite registration hours. Once in the registration area, visit the end of the counter (with the plain blue headers).
