Municipal officials paying hotel room bills by cash or personal check are not entitled to an exemption from the luxury tax. The exemption only applies if the room bill is paid directly by the governmental agency, in this case, only by voucher from the municipality. All rooms are subject to a Room Tax and Tourism Fee.

Yes! Each year the Conference app provides a way to easily view and search the schedule, view speakers, receive alerts, and view an interactive exhibit floor. Registered attendees can even create personalized schedules to target what they want to see, hear, and do (when logged in).

If you downloaded app in 2022, the 2023 app will not update with information for 2023. You will need to download the new 2023 version.

After the Conference has concluded, follow the instructions below. CEUs for the 2022 Annual League Conference are currently available, and will be accessible until May 1, 2023.

Printing Instructions

  1. Login to the CEU Tracking System.
  2. Enter your Registrant ID or your last name and zip code.
  3. When prompted Enter in Your License Number (if applicable).
  4. Complete the evaluation form for the first session you attended by clicking “Take Eval.”
  5. Once you have completed the evaluation form hit “submit.” This will take you back to the main session page. 
  6. Once you have taken the evaluation, you can print your certificate by hitting “Print.”
  7. Once on the print screen, you have the option to “Print My Certificate” or “Email My Certificate.”*
  8. Clicking “Print My Certificate” will take you to a print screen where you can print your certificate. Certificates may be printed more than once.
  9. Clicking “Email My Certificate” will email the certificate to your email address. If your email address is not in the system, you will be asked to provide it. 
  10. After you print or email your certificate the screen should return to the session list. If it doesn’t, simply click the “View Credits” tab at the top right of your screen.  
  11. Repeat steps 3-7 for each session you have attended.

The conference is an education and business event for local government officials.

The Annual Conference is attended by New Jersey local elected and appointed officials, governing body members, purchasing agents, professional administrators, department heads and numerous other public sector officials. The attendees represent a vertical “slice” of government; a unique opportunity to meet numerous officials involved in the decision making process.

The conference is not a public or consumer show. It is an education and business event for government officials.

If you exhibited in 2022, a welcome email with your account access was sent to the primary contact on file. 
You will have to login on the Reserve Exhibit Space webpage to complete the Exhibit Space Contract and payment.

If you are a new exhibitor, please follow the instructions for "New Exhibitors" on the Reserve Exhibit Space webpage. 

Each 10'x10' exhibit space includes the following:

  • Listing in the Conference Program, conference app, and conference website
  • Complimentary exhibit hall Wi-Fi
  • eBooth on the interactive floor plan
  • Listing in the June, October, and November issues of NJ Municipalities magazine
  • Use of the Conference logo for marketing
  • Booth rails and drape: 8’ h (back) x 3’ h (side)
  • 7”x44” booth sign with exhibit name and booth number
  • Use of the exhibitor lock-up room (for securing small valuables overnight)
  • Complimentary registrations for booth personnel
  • Complimentary pre and post conference delegate mailing lists (no phone, fax or email)
  • Discounted rate on additional League mailing lists
  • Complimentary copy of the 2024 Municipal Directory (distributed to exhibitors in March 2024)

NOTE: Exhibitors are responsible for all booth furnishings (tables, chairs, carpet, etc.) and utilities. These items are not included with the booth but can be ordered through the Exhibitor Service Manual (available in August).
