Yes! The Conference app allows attendees to easily view the full schedule of events, exhibit list,  and details of the Conference conveniently on the go. The app can be downloaded from your app store as early as October 5. Any attendees that provided a unique email address at registration have the ability to login and save a personalized schedule and exhibitor listing. Registered attendees also have access to a networking module and the consultants contact list.
Follow NJLM on Facebook and Twitter during the conference by using #njleague. The League will be providing immediate notices on League schedule changes, updates, and announcements about sold-out events. Visit NJLM’s profiles on Facebook and Twitter.

Medical Emergency Assistance

A first aid station is located inside the Exhibit Hall in front of the 100 aisle. In an emergency, either go directly to the first aid station, or alert someone at the Registration Center or League Information Booth.

Handicapped Access

Elevator access to each level can be found near the center and right side of the atrium. On the first level, elevators are near the entrance to the parking garage. On the second level, they are to the left of Exhibit Hall entrances “A” and “B.” Elevators on the third level are near rooms 307 and 310. The fourth level elevator access is near rooms 407 and 410. For Scooter or Wheelchair rentals, please call the UPS Business Center (located in the Convention Center Atrium) at 609-449-2480. For wheelchair-accessible shuttle services, please contact Sherri Carrelli at Academy Bus, 800-709-1339, ext. 2750.

Food Service and Restaurants

A restaurant is conveniently located in the 2500 aisle of the Exhibit Hall. It will be serving continental breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches, deli platters, and beverages. In addition, there are two small snack bars with limited menus in the front of the Exhibit Hall (aisles 100 and 1500).

Parking locations are available at the ACCC for a fee. Parking is available at nearby hotel/casinos and public parking lots for a fee.

Members of the League staff, wearing white staff ribbons on their badges, will be available at:

• The League Booth
• The Information Booth near the registration area on the second level

Municipal officials paying hotel room bills by cash or personal check are not entitled to an exemption from the luxury tax. The exemption only applies if the room bill is paid directly by the governmental agency, in this case, only by voucher from the municipality. All rooms are subject to a Room Tax and Tourism Fee.

Attendee Networking

A newer feature to the app, the attendee module allows registered attendees to connect via the "Let’s Meet" button on the attendee list. The Let’s Meet feature allows you to send an individual email to another attendee, via your email server. This feature is available to registered attendees only.

Who Can View the Information in the Attendee Module?

Only registered attendees that are logged into the app can view this area.

Edit Your Information

To edit your information that is displayed in the app, go to "My Profile" and select "edit".

Opt-Out

If you do not wish to be listed in the attendee list, go to "My Profile" and select "edit". From here you can check the box to opt out of this feature. You can also choose which items are private and public for display within the app.

Filtering Schedule

While viewing the schedule, in the upper right corner, click the filter icon. From here you can filter by CEU, association, or format. Select "done" to view the schedule, or "reset" to start over.

Searching Schedule

Type keywords into the search bar, located at the top left corner of the schedule.

You may do so by accessing the speaker portal.

When uploading photos, the best image to use is a square. The system resizes images to 400x400px for a uniform look on the website.

If you do not know your password, use the forgot your password option. An email will be sent to you to reset your password. Make sure that you are using the same password that was used by the session coordinator to contact you for coordinating the session.

  • View a full listing of the sessions that you are participating in.
  • Update your contact information.
  • Upload a photo and complete your bio.  
    (For photos, the best image is a square. Images will be resized to 400x400px for a uniform look).
  • Upload handouts, which enables Conference attendees to access handouts in the app.
  • View a listing of League Staff contacts.
On the login page, submit the "Forgot Password" option and your password will be emailed to you.

Yes! You may upload your handouts and/or presentation in the speaker portal. Doing so allows Conference attendees to access them from the website or in the Conference app.

After logging in to the speaker portal, click on the "Submit Handouts" link that appears next to the session.

Hashtag It!

Be sure to use the official Annual League Conference hashtag: #njleague.

Include the Website

Including a link to the Annual Conference website will help attendees find information on the schedule and registration.

Municipal Speakers

You will be automatically registered by League staff, and an invoice for the cost of your registration will be sent to your email address. Once registration has been paid and confirmed, you will have access to the League's educational sessions and the exhibit hall during regular conference hours, and the ability to earn CEUs.

State, county, state utilities or authorities, non-profit organizations, and non-government speakers

You will automatically be registered by League staff and receive a complimentary badge. Your complimentary registration will include access to the League's educational sessions and the exhibit hall during regular Conference hours. You may also receive CEU credit for the session you are participating in. However, if you would like to attend additional conference sessions to receive CEU credit, you will need to purchase a paid badge.

To have your badge converted to a paid registration, contact Marie Kizer at 609-695-3481 extension 113 or Johnnifer Harris at 609-695-3481 extension 119.

When using the complimentary badge, after Conference if you wish to receive credit for the session that you participated in, email Danielle Holland-Htut, Continuing Education/Special Programs Manager.

Yes. After Conference week, to receive credit for the session that you particiated in email Danielle Holland-Htut for assistance.

Speakers with no municipal affiliation will receive a complimentary badge to attend the Conference. The complimentary badge allows access to attend all sessions and the exhibit hall, however, you may only receive CEU credit for the session that you are scheduled to speak at. If you would like to receive credits for other sessions, you will need to purchase a paid badge. 

League Sessions

All sessions are equipped with a dais, table top lectern with microphone and a microphone in the aisle for audience Q&A.

Note on PowerPoints & Other Visual Presentations

If you would like to present a PowerPoint presentation, you must contact the League staff member that is coordinating your session (see the contact information listed on the right-side of this page). The League will order a table and screen for your session; presenters must bring a laptop, projector and extension cord (at least 20' long).

Over 125 sessions take place during the Conference. Because of this, it is necessary to utlize the same room for multiple sessions.

Exhibitors are companies that provide products and services used by New Jersey’s local governments.  Some industries represented are:  Housing, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Telecommunications, Document Management, Heavy Equipment, Office Products, Recreation,  IT, Environmental, Technology, Banking, Emergency products, Insurance, Healthcare, Security, Energy, Recycling, Stormwater, etc.

The conference is an education and business event for local government officials.

The Annual Conference is attended by New Jersey local elected and appointed officials, governing body members, purchasing agents, professional administrators, department heads and numerous other public sector officials. The attendees represent a vertical “slice” of government; a unique opportunity to meet numerous officials involved in the decision making process.

The conference is not a public or consumer show. It is an education and business event for government officials.

If you exhibited in 2021, a welcome email with your account access was sent to the primary contact on file. 
You will have to login on the Reserve Exhibit Space webpage to complete the Exhibit Space Contract and payment.

Each 10'x10' exhibit space includes the following:

  • Listing in the Conference Program, app, and conference website
  • eBooth on the interactive floor plan

  • Complimentary copy of the 2023 Municipal Directory (distributed to exhibitors in March 2023)

NOTE: Exhibitors are responsible for all booth furnishings (tables, chairs, carpet, etc.) and utilities (electric, internet, etc.). These items are not included with the booth but can be ordered through the Exhibitor Service Manual (available in August).
Exhibitors may also provide their own furnishings.

No, you can view the app without logging in. However, logging in allows you to create a personalized schedule, and if you are a registered attendee, you can network with other attendees in the Attendee module.

How do I find my password?

When you first open the app, click on the “Registered Attendees” button.

The first time logging in, you will need to set-up your password by clicking the "Reset Password" option. An email will be sent to you directly from the app developer "Tripbuilder Media Support".

Follow the instructions in the email.

The full descriptions are there, but you must scroll down. If you have finished scrolling down on the main screen, place your finger within the description box and scroll down again.
Tap the box next to a session, exhibitor, or consultant name to save. A check mark will appear. Checked items will appear in your “MyEvent” section, and can be added to your personalized calendar.
When updates are available, a red exclamation mark will appear next the circle icon at the top of the main app screen. Tap on this icon to update.

Tap on the “Help Desk” module, then the "Contact App Developer" tab. At the bottom of this screen you will see "Submit Support Ticket". Submit a ticket for assistance.
