EMS Council of New Jersey
Celebrating our 93rd year, the nonprofit EMS Council of New Jersey represents thousands of volunteers affiliated with 220+ agencies throughout the Garden State. Our volunteers provide basic life support emergency medical services to New Jersey residents and visitors. Our courageous, committed, unwavering members have volunteered throughout numerous disasters and challenges, including COVID-19, during the last nine decades to ensure their neighbors and communities remain as safe and healthy as possible.
In addition to answering hundreds of thousands of calls annually, our volunteers provide education and training for residents and stand-by services during public events. They also perform nonstop recruitment, retention and fundraising efforts, and maintain their training and certifications -- all while juggling family, work and school obligations.
New Jersey is fortunate to have this army of trained, dedicated volunteer responders summoned time and again during crises. We couldn't be more proud of them.
