He has been at the township of Bloomfield as a CIO/IT Director for over 10 years. He has been recognized as the township's first African American Head of Department. He has recently been promoted to Township Assistant Administrator/ CIO. He has an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Biology, an advanced degree in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy. He recently join the ranks of Certified Government Chief Information Officers in 2018 thru Public Technology Institute and Rutgers University.
Since 2018 he has been an appointed Board Member of a state-wide organization of Professional Government Information Technology Leaders. He served as a Board member of New Jersey Government Information Sciences, and in 2021 he was voted Vice president/President-Elect for the years 2021-2023 in 2023, he will transition as the organization's President. He recently completed a certificate program at Cornell University e-Cornell program I Diversity and Inclusion for HR.
He became an instant team leader in the IT field, working either in the private, non-profit, or public local government sector. He has expressed a thought-provoking work ethic and the desire to learn and teach all the aspects of this high-paced and challenging field. As a senior member of IT departments, he always strives for competency, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. His background has given him strong human and technical skills, which has made him a well-respected professional in the field.
