Profile

Kevin is a recently retired Police Detective from the Township of Long Beach in Ocean County. He currently serves as the Legal Protection Plan Administrator for the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association, managing a plan that covers over 1,200 claims a year worth over $4 Million annually. His duties also include serving on the NJ State Health Plan Design Committee where he has served as labor chair, the Police Training Commission where he currently sits as the chair of the appeals and legislative committee as well as, the State Committee for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. Kevin has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, where he conducted extensive research on assaults on police officers the results of which were published and presented at a national conference in Toronto, Canada. He has also earned several certifications including a Certificate in Public Policy in Employee Health from The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and is currently enrolled in the CEBS program. In 2018, Kevin was chosen to serve on the Governor’s Task Force on State Health Benefits Quality and Value.

Kevin served on his local P.B.A. Executive Board for over 20 years, holding the office of State Delegate for 14 of them as well as serving on the State P.B.A. Executive Board and on many State Committees. He has also served on the Board of Education at Southern Regional School District since 1998 (his alma mater) where he has served as President and Vice President numerous times most recently as President during the pandemic. He is a resident of Stafford Township with his wife of over 30 years, Deborah, and his four children, Maura, Richard, Kevin Jr., and Kiera, and his awesome grandson Noah.
