Dr. Paulette Laubsch, Professor, joined the full-time faculty of in August 2001 after retiring from the State of New Jersey Department of Labor with over 31 years of service. She started with the Department of Labor as an Employment Services Trainee and rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Commissioner of Employment Security and Job Training, where she was responsible for the operations of the Employment Services Offices, the Unemployment Insurance Offices, and the Disability Insurance Program. In addition, she served as an Executive Administration for the New Jersey State Employment and Training Commission for three years, where she worked on education, training, and workforce policies.
Dr. Laubsch is a Certified Public Manager and has been active in the state and national societies where she had various elected and appointed positions. She was the recipient of the prestigious Henning Award; an award from the American Academy of Certified Public Managers to a member who the organization feels best exemplified public management.
