The Atlantic City Convention Center is requiring all patrons, regardless of vaccination status, entering the venue to wear a facial covering or mask and to keep it on at all times while in the venue, except when eating and drinking. This requirement will be extended to all League-sponsored events occurring in the Sheraton hotel. In addition, all attendees over the age of 12 will need to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to entering the Atlantic City Convention Center during Conference hours.
No, we are confidently moving forward with an in-person event in response to the feedback from enthusiastic local government officials and exhibitors who are eager to learn and connect. We know that safety and success need to be prioritized in equal measure, and we are committed to safely gathering at the 106th Annual League Conference at the Atlantic City Convention Center November 16-18, 2021.

Regardless of vaccination status, all Conference participants will be required to wear a face mask.

Atlantic City Convention Center & Sheraton Hotel

The Atlantic City Convention Center requires face masks to be worn by all guests while indoors. All patrons entering the venue, and attending League sponsored events at the Sheraton Hotel will be required to wear a facial covering or mask at all times, except as necessary to consume food or beverage. 

Shuttle buses

Masks are required on shuttle buses.

Panelists at sessions

Panelists may remove their masks when presenting, but should wear them when not actively speaking. Disposable microphone covers will be available for panelists to replace in-between speakers.

Fully vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Any of the vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization will be acceptable.

Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination include the following:

  • Original vaccination card
  • A copy of vaccination card
  • Picture of vaccination card
  • Electronic vaccination card (e.g., NJ Docket app)
A negative rapid Antigen or PCR test is acceptable. Proof of negative test result needs to be within 72 hours of entrance and directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination or test. It can be displayed on your smartphone, or through a physical copy.

COVID testing will be required for any Conference participant who is unable to show proof of full vaccination.
Children under the age of 12 may attend the event without vaccination. Children over the age of 12 will need to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to entering the Atlantic City Convention Center during Conference hours. Children over the age of 2 must wear a mask at all times. 
The Atlantic City Convention Center allows for appropriate density management and distancing measures and is among the safest venues in the country with GBAC accreditation. As a result, we will not be limiting attendance numbers, but have implemented social distancing measurers throughout the conference to keep participants safe.

Rapid testing will be available at no cost to Conference participants in the Atlantic City Convention Center. Participants will be asked to provide insurance information, but will not be charged under any circumstance. Results will only be verified and not retained by the League.
